Importance of Akshaya Tritiya
Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day of the month of Vaishakh. It has a very special significance in our scriptures. This is the date when Lord Vishnu was incarnated, Ganga descended to earth, Rishi Ved Vyas started the composition of Mahabharata on this day. Therefore, it is not an ordinary day. Its importance should be understood. There is a great tradition of giving charity on this day to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu on Akshaya Tritiya. It is said that the charity done on this day is infinitely fruitful.
Therefore, there is a tradition of spending some part of your body, mind and money in religious works. Serve with your body as well, contribute as much money as possible in your Guru's work. Because the charity given does not go waste, but it comes back to you multiplied many times over.
Just as you sow a hundred grains of wheat, you get a crop that increases thousands of times in return. Similarly, the charity done, the service done with hands, all get collected in your account as a garden of virtue. Sadhaks start their Sadhana from Akshaya Tritiya by praying that O Lord! May our devotion be everlasting, may it never diminish, may we keep moving ahead on the path of devotion, may our meditation be successful and may we make our life a successful one!

so that God's special blessings remain on them! But the most valuable thing is! Your devotion! Collect as much of this wealth as you can because it will remain with you for many births! In this world as well as in the next! Happy Akshaya Tritiya to everyone. May everyone be blessed. We pray that we may receive the infinite blessings of Lord Vishnu and Sadgurudev!
