Man and woman are such creations of nature that they complement each other. The suffering of one becomes the cause of suffering for the other as well. But despite knowing this, our society knowingly or unknowingly does injustice to the girls of the society. On the other hand, if these girls are from economically deprived class, then their life becomes even more painful.
The status of girls in the present scenario of the country
Our society may have progressed a lot but even today when it comes to sons and daughters, it is the daughters who are asked to sacrifice their wishes and happiness. And when it comes to daughters born in economically weak families, they are still considered a burden. Daughters born in poor families still have to fall prey to the evils of society.
Even today, girls from these deprived sections have to handle household chores at an age when they should be playing.
Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan: A boon for girls
Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan is a divine mission started by Param Pujya Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj whose aim is to bring the girls of the deprived section of the society out of the quagmire of poverty and illiteracy and provide them proper guidance so that they can become self-reliant by getting educated.
Under the Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan at VJM, we try to provide proper education to the girls living in slums, ragpickers and economically weak and deprived sections.
About Us
Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan is a welfare campaign run by Vishwa Jagriti Mission, through which girls from the underprivileged sections of the society are not only being educated but also being given skill training by linking them with the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and are also being made self-reliant and empowered.
Here we not only ensure the all-round development of girls by providing them education and skills but also promote their spiritual and emotional development.
Services and facilities we provide
Under the Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan, we at Vishwa Jagriti Mission are taking necessary steps for the welfare of all the girls with the help of workers, self-helpers, donors.
Here we are helping the girls coming from deprived families in every possible way to change their lives. Under which we are providing the following services to the needy girls:-
Education Facilities : Gyandeep Vidyalaya
Started under the guidance of Maharaj Ji, this project has transformed the lives of thousands of girls with the donations from his devotees and volunteers.
Books, Uniforms, medical facilities, mid day meals
At Vishwa Jagriti Mission, we ensure that along with education, girls also get easy availability of necessary materials to complete their studies. Here we distribute books, stationery, school uniforms to the girls according to their class.
At Vishwa Jagriti Mission, every girl is also served nutritious mid-day meal every day so that these girls from the underprivileged class can get the necessary nutrition for the whole day.
Services provided under Kaushal Vikas Kendra
In Vishwa Jagriti Mission, we also include girls in the skill development program run by the central government to make them self-reliant after education, so that girls can become self-reliant by getting skill training in the subject of their choice. Here we provide skill training to girls in the following subjects and after the training, girls are also given a certificate of successful completion of the respective course.

Skill Training & Certification
Skill training is also being provided to girls and women through this Kanya Atmanirbhar program started under Vishwa Jagriti Mission. So far, 300+ girls have been trained through this mission to create employment of their choice.
Here girls are provided with various types of skill training (skill development training) like beautician, sewing training, computer education etc. After completion of the course, the trained girls are provided a certificate recognized by the Central Government.
Adequate assistance for employment generation (loan and other assistance)
Under VJM's Kanya Atmanirbhar Abhiyan, the girls who have received skill training are not left helpless after giving them the training but are helped till they stand on their own feet.
After skill training, we provide all possible assistance to the girls for self-employment such as: Getting consultation from knowledgeable and experienced people for their startups Helping in getting loans at subsidized rates from government banks Guidance by experts to pursue employment so that these girls can become self-reliant and empowered and become financially aware and successful.
