Guru Purnima is seen as a sacred day in the bond between Guru and disciple. It is said to be the best time to grow on the spiritual path under the guidance of a true Guru. On this day, the moon is closest to Earth, its pull stronger, and the natural energy of the planet more active. Because of this, meditation, chanting, or any spiritual practice done near the Guru gives deeper results.

When we bow at the feet of the Guru with gratitude and surrender, blessings flow and the path to the Divine becomes easier to walk.

To honor this day, Vishwa Jagriti Mission holds the Guru Purnima Mahotsav, a gathering where seekers can sit with the Guru, do their practices, and feel uplifted both spiritually and in daily life.
