Gau Seva Abhiyan: The Science of Dharma and the Smile of Life
Gau Mata is not revered as a mother in Sanatan Dharma without reason. She is the giver of life. Through her milk, urine, dung, affection, and divine presence, she nourishes all of humanity. Under the guidance of Param Pujya Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, this initiative launched by Vishva Jagriti Mission not only provides safe shelter to destitute and abandoned cows, but also protects every cow with compassion, devotion, and a spirit of service.
In Hindu Dharma, Gau Mata holds immense importance. Scriptures describe that thirty-three crore deities reside within her body. Be it the divine childhood of Shri Krishna or the austerities of ancient sages, in every age, Gau Mata has stood as a symbol of Dharma, nourishment, and natural balance.

Gau Seva: A Religious Duty and a Human Responsibility
The Gau Seva Abhiyan, conducted by Vishva Jagriti Mission, is a divine endeavor initiated with the inspiration of Param Pujya Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj. Here, Gau Mata and her calves are granted honor, shelter, and protection. Injured, aged, and abandoned cows in dire circumstances are given a safe refuge in our Gaushala. They are saved from consuming plastic on roads and highways.
Through this mission, over 3,000 cows have been rescued from the clutches of slaughterhouses, with over 500 of them currently receiving continuous care in the Gaushala located in Delhi NCR itself.

You may also adopt a cow in the name of a departed loved one, so that through your meritorious act of Gau Seva, their soul may attain peace at the Lord’s feet. Your sacred deed secures the life of a cow and brings you deep spiritual fulfillment.
