Even today, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose awakens the thirst for revolution in awakened souls

Born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack city, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose played a leading role in India's freedom struggle and inspired Indians for the freedom movement.

तुम मुझे खून दो मैं तुम्हे आजादी दूँगा- जय हिंद

Born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack city, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose played a leading role in India’s freedom struggle and aroused the spirit of freedom movement among Indians. Adopting a skilful strategy to free the country from the British, he formed the Azad Hind Fauj with the help of Japan. The slogans given by him ‘You give me blood, I will give you freedom’ and ‘Jai Hind’ still awaken new energy in Indians.

आजादहिंद सेना से कहा दिल्ली चलो

Due to the immense public faith and trust in Bose’s leadership, Indians started addressing him as ‘Netaji’. The proclamation of ‘दिल्ली चलो’ made by him as the Supreme Commander in front of the Town Hall of Singapore on 5 July 1943 in front of the ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ formed by him even today awakens the call of revolution. Thus, the credit of forming the ‘First Provisional Government of Independent India’, a symbol of freedom from the slavery of the British, goes to Netaji. On 21 October 1943, the government formed by Subhash Chandra Bose as the supreme commander of the Azad Hind Fauj was recognized by the governments of 11 countries including Germany, Japan, Philippines, Korea, China, Italy, Manchukuo and Ireland.

Swami Vivekananda and Maharishi Arvind Ghosh were ideals

Born to father Jankinath Bose and mother Prabhavati, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had studied Swami Vivekananda's literature completely at the age of just fifteen years. Subhash ji's heart and mind were obsessed with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and Maharishi Arvind Ghosh, so by becoming an ICS he was miles away from becoming a slave of the British, yet keeping in mind his father's wish, Subhash became an ICS, he secured the fourth position in the seniority list in 1920. Thereafter, on 22 April 1921, he resigned from ICS and got involved in the Indian freedom struggle with full passion.

His passion and enthusiasm always beats in the hearts of the countrymen

The echo of the broadcast of blessings and good wishes sought by Netaji from Mahatma Gandhi for national victory on 6 July 1944 from Rangoon Radio Station will never let our great hero die from the hearts of Indians. Even though his physical presence among us today is a matter of controversy, but his passion and enthusiasm always beats in the hearts of the countrymen, with this passion the country is celebrating the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji on 23 January 2022. On behalf of crores of Vishwa Jagriti Mission family, salute to this great hero of the century.
