Find the real meditative state

In simple terms, meditation is the state in which the mind becomes devoid of objects; it is the disappearance of thoughts from the mind, and at times, it is the very dissolution of the mind itself. These are all various stages of meditation into which a meditator progressively descends. Beyond these stages, there exist certain other states of meditation as well. When a seeker attains that state, it is an experience of supreme bliss—a state where they connect with their own inner peace.
