Daridrya–Durbhagya Dosha: An Obstruction in Economic and Spiritual Growth

In human life, wealth and prosperity are not merely tools of luxury but also the foundation of stability, self-confidence, and social dignity. When there is a lack of money in life, neither can one fulfill the needs of the family nor remain mentally at peace. The Vedas proclaim that poverty is the root cause of all suffering. For this reason, the scriptures regard Daridrya Dosha as the greatest defect in life.

Generally, this dosha becomes active in the horoscope due to certain planetary combinations, the affliction of malefic planets, or the burden of ancestral debts. However, through Vedic rituals and devotion to deities, the removal of this dosha is possible. The Daridrya Dosha Nivaran Puja is such a sacred remedy, by which a person pacifies the planets and attains the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber, resulting not only in financial prosperity but also in mental peace.
