Vishwa Jagriti Mission has developed numerable cowsheds over the years. The reason behind nurturing cows is not merely dairy or dairy products but also because of the depleting condition of cows.

According to Hindu Mythology, cows are believed the most sacred of sacred animals, it is said that a cow resides 33,00,00,000 Gods and Goddesses in itself. It is a matter of utter shame for us that cows end up eating plastic bags and die a miserable death due to lack of nutrition. VJM ensures to support the Holy Cow in all possible manners, adopting cows from slaughter houses, nurturing them their whole life, providing them with periodical medical health checkups and most importantly treating them like a family member and not as an animal adopted from the abandoned spaces.

With the endless support of kind people from all over India, since its first cowshed established in Anand Dham Ashram, VJM was able to save an estimate of 6,000 cows from living a miserable life ahead.
