There is no age restriction. However, during certain breathing practices, elderly participants, pregnant women, and children are advised to proceed with special care and guidance.

Yes, women may participate and continue their practices during this time. However, they are advised not to sit in front of sacred idols or inside temples while practicing, and to perform breathing exercises like Bhastrika and Kapalbhati at a slower pace.

This is common among beginners who are just learning to focus during meditation. It usually occurs when too much attention is forcefully directed at the space between the eyebrows (Aagya Chakra) with closed eyes. With time and regular practice, these symptoms naturally fade.
