Anand Dham Ashram, located in the national capital, is imbued with a profound divine ambiance. It is a picturesque place where devotees move adorned in white and saffron attire, reciting Vedic Mantras in the temples, participating in Yagnas, and offering their service to a sprawling Gaushala (cowshed). The ashram is also a beautiful haven for Rishikumars, who lead an austere life in the Gurukul.
With organically cultivated expansive fields and lush green gardens, the ashram is a habitat for diverse bird species, including peacocks, cuckoos, ducks, and parrots.
The melodious chirping and quacking of these birds provide a delightful musical symphony for those present. As you roam around the ashram, the heavenly vibes and inherent purity permeate your being. Be there this Mahashivratri and experience the divinity yourself.
Mahashivratri is the joyful celebration of Lord Shiva, the meditative force in the cosmos. Mahadev, who is omnipresent, supreme, and the most benevolent deity, He upholds the entire creation and permeates the vast universe.
On Maha Shivratri, surrender your entire being to Him and extend your prayers at the sacred Shivalaya, the spiritual core of Anand Dham Ashram.
The Lord Shiva temple within the ashram is a distinctive replication of the renowned Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Pashupati and situated in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Lord Shiva is the Lord of Meditation. Shiv Dhyan is an intense meditative technique wherein seekers try to focus their entire spiritual energy on Lord Shiva. The meditation technique helps seekers open their third eye and get their minds functioning at their full potential. It helps them control the mind and keep away from unsettling thoughts so that they may connect with God.
And when a seeker’s inner power connects with Him, all the insecurities, fears, and dilemmas of life turn into non-existent entities.
This is at the core of ‘Shiv Dhyan’ that Lord Shiva’s devotees practice in the presence of their Guru on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri.
On this day, meditate and feel the presence of the Supreme consciousness in your heart. This is a golden opportunity to seek the blessings of Shiva and Shakti in the form of positive energy, good health, and divine love.

Rudra is Lord Shiva’s form, an immeasurably kind-hearted and compassionate deity, despite the fact that His name sounds aggressive and fierce in nature. Maharudra Yagna is performed to worship and appease Shiva in this merciful form. This Maha Yagna is one of the most sacred and powerful among all the Yagnas. It is performed to invoke the kind blessings of Lord Shiva.
This devotional ceremony involves the chanting of powerful mantras and offerings into the sacred fire, symbolizing dedication, surrender, purification, and deep devotion to Lord Shiva. It dispels all kinds of negativity and promotes inner well-being, apart from bringing peace, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment.
The sacred ritual of Mahashivratri is an expression of gratitude to Lord Shiva.
If you perform Maharudra Yagna by yourself or jointly perform this with devotees, if you hear the collective chanting of the Rudra Mantras, if you join by staying near the Yagna venue, or if you witness the rituals from a distance, it will provide you with great benefits.
