हे पाप-पुण्यों का निर्णय करने वाले धर्मराज! मुझ पर तथा मेरे परिवार पर प्रसन्न हों। मेरे श्रद्धा के पुष्प स्वीकार कीजिए। हे प्रभो! आपकी कृपा से प्राप्त देन आपके चरणों में अर्पित करते हैं। मेरे प्रभो! हमें जीवन भर दाता बनाकर रखें, याचक नहीं।
O adjudicator of sins and virtues, Dharmaraj, be happy over me and my family. Accept the flowers of my reverence. O, Lord! We offer at your feet, the gifts that we have received by your grace. My Lord, make us a giver for a lifetime, not a taker.

अपनी कमाई का दो से दस प्रतिशत दान करना

God, the Supreme Being, is the ultimate giver. He gives us everything without asking anything from us. Giving to others is the natural quality of Paramātmā and since we are also a part of Him we should inculcate this quality in us as well. Donation is one of the greatest sacrifices as poor and needy are getting life through our humble act.
