But what if there is no support at all?

Such is the situation of orphans. They all are children of God, Children of Destiny, yet they lack a safe place to grow and basics like food, clothes, and access to education. This enhances the likelihood of them choosing the wrong path in life or getting caught in the wrong hands.

As aware members of society, we are capable to change their narrative from being vulnerable to able. We can easily help them transform their lives by supporting orphanages.

Children are left in orphanages because their one or both parents are dead and their relatives or, sometimes, the widowed mothers cannot afford to take care of them. These widows and relatives put their trust in the orphanage to clothe, feed, and educate these children and provide them with support in life.

जीवन की डोर के उलझे हुए धागों को सुलझाने के लिए, जीवन की पगडण्डियों पर सबल होकर चलने के लिए, आधिदैविक, आधिभौतिक और आध्यात्मिक दुःख और संतापों से बचने के लिए, अपने जीवन को गरिमा प्रदान करने के लिए प्रत्येक मनुष्य को देवाधिदेव महादेव, आशुतोष भगवान शिव के मंगलमय महामृत्युंजय मन्त्र के द्वारा उनका ध्यान, प्रार्थना, आराधना, जाप आदि श्रद्धा और भक्ति पूर्वक करना चाहिए।

जीवन की यात्र में जब भी मनुष्य के सामने काल का भयंकर प्रवाह विकराल रूप लेकर आता है, तो उस विपरीत और कस्टदायक घड़ी में काल के भी महाकाल कैलाशपति भगवान शिव शम्भू का ध्यान और उसकी प्रार्थना से मनुष्य को दुःखों से राहत और उनको सहने की शक्ति तथा शान्ति प्राप्त होती है। ऐसे विपरीत समय में महामृत्युंजय भगवान शिव निश्चित रूप से करुणा करते हैं। वे करुणा के सागर हैं और उनका महामृत्युंजय मन्त्र संजीवन बूटी की तरह कार्य करता है।

मनुष्य की चाहे आर्थिक स्थिति बिगड़े, या मानसिक संतुलन, परिवार में विघटन आए अथवा समाज में अपमान का घूंट पीना पड़े, शरीर व्याधियों से ग्रस्त हो और दवाई भी असरदार सिद्ध न हो रही हो। कुछ सूझे न, कुछ समझे न, इससे भी आगे रोग-महामारी, बुढ़ापा अथवा दुःखद मृत्यु से भी बचने के लिए शाश्वत सुखप्रदाता महामृत्युंजय भगवान शिव का महामन्त्र एक अचूक औषधि सिद्ध होता है।

मानव जीवन में उतार-चढ़ाव का आना अवश्यम्भावी है। चाहे राजा हो या रंक, अमीर हो या गरीब, निर्बल हो या बलवान, कोई कितना भी बुद्धिमान हो अथवा कम दिमाग वाला हो, सबके जीवन में कभी न कभी ऐसे क्षण जरूर आते हैं, जब उसे किसी सबल सहारे की जरूरत पड़ती है और वह सहारा भगवान शिव का महामृत्युंजय मन्त्र है।

जब भी इंसान दुःखद स्थितियों से गुजरता है, तो उसके जीवन में अंधेरा उभरने लगता है और जैसे शाम होते-होते धीरे-धीरे सूर्य अस्त होता जाता है तथा लोग अपने-अपने घर के दरवाजे बन्द करने लगते हैं, ठीक ऐसे ही जब भी जीवन में ऐसी स्थितियां आएं कि भाग्य विपरीत हो जाए और दुर्भाग्य का अंधेरा बढ़ रहा हो, उस समय दिमाग ऐसा सोचता है कि क्या करें? क्या न करें? ऐसी स्थिति में जब सारी दुनिया के दरवाजे बन्द होने लगते हैं, उस भयंकर स्थिति में भगवान शिवशंकर की प्रार्थना ही सहारा बनती है और उनका महामृत्युंजय मन्त्र ही भवसागर में नौका बनकर हमें डूबने से बचाता है।

किन्तु इस महामंत्र की महिमा और व्याख्या करने से पूर्व मैं यह जरूर कहना चाहूंगा कि हमारे समाज में प्रार्थना, उपासना, आराधना, जाप और तपस्या में भी एक्सिपेरिमेण्ट किए जाते हैं, जो कि उचित नहीं है। कुछ भक्त ऐसा भी करते हैं कि कभी भगवान राम से मन्नत मांगते हैं, कभी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से, कभी हनुमानजी को प्रसन्न करना चाहते हैं, कभी दुर्गा मां को, कभी भगवान शिव की आराधना में मन लगाते हैं और कभी मां काली के चरणों में सिर झुकाते हैं आदि-आदि.।

जबकि उनकी श्रद्धा, उनकी भक्ति, उनकी प्रार्थना, याचना, कामना में न तो निःस्वार्थ भाव होता है और न ही समर्पण का समावेश। जब उनकी अनुचित इच्छा पूर्ण नहीं होती तो वे स्वयं को न बदलकर भगवान को ही बदल देते हैं अथवा कई भक्त तो ऐसा भी बोल देते हैं कि अब तो मेरा विश्वास ही उठ गया है।

मनुष्य अपूर्ण है और सतत् पूर्णता की खोज में सदैव संलग्न रहता है। अपनी रिक्तता की पूर्णता के लिए व्यक्ति जीवन भर विविध आयास-प्रयास करता है। कभी धन की शक्ति को आजमाता है और कभी पद के बल के प्रभाव को निहारता है। अपूर्णता पूर्ण सत्य है, लेकिन सच्ची अपूर्णता के लिए पूर्णता के सत्य उपाय ही सफल होते हैं।

अतः आइए! हम सब मिलकर महामृत्युंजय महामंत्र का श्रद्धा और भक्ति से जाप करते हुए त्रिकालदर्शी महादेव की प्रार्थना करें। जो मृत को अमृत में, अपूर्ण को परिपूर्णता में परिवर्तित कर देता है। जो दुःखों के अन्धेरों में सुखों का सवेरा प्रदान करता है, जिनकी कृपा से अशुभ, अनुचित एवं अमंगल दुर्भावनाएं दग्ध हो जाती हैं, नष्ट हो जाती हैं और जिनकी दया से मंगल कामनाएं, शुभ भावनाएं सम्पूर्ण होती हैं। ऐसे पाप-ताप के निवारण करने हारे भगवान शिव शंकर का ध्यान करते हुए पूर्ण मनोयोग से जाप करें।

त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्।
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात्।।

मंत्र का सामान्य भावार्थ है-हे त्र्यम्बक! तीनों लोकों के नाथ, त्रिलोकी महादेव! हम तेरा यजन करते हैं। तेरे सुगन्धित रूप एवं पोषण करने वाले रस की उपासना करते हैं। जैसे रस एवं सुगन्धि से परिपूर्ण खरबूजा डाल से बिना प्रयास किए ही मुक्त हो जाता है, वैसे ही मृत्यु रूपी बन्धन से, अर्थात् समस्त दुःखों से मुझे मुक्त कर दो।

हे आशुतोष भगवान! मैं जब तक धरा पर रहूं तब तक तेरे अमृत, शिवमय आंचल की छांव में रहूं। जिस समय संसार से विदाई हो तो मधुरता और सुगंधमय वातावरण बना रहे। मनुष्य की चेतना चलते-चलते जहां अन्त में ठहरती है, उसी आधार से उसकी गति होती है। इसलिए शिवभक्त भगवान शंकर से प्रार्थना करता है कि हे भूत, भविष्य और वर्तमान के ज्ञाता महाशिव! जब तक मैं संसार में रहूं, समर्थ होकर रहूं, किसी की सेवा, सहायता और सहयोग की मुझे जरूरत न पड़े। मेरा शरीर, मेरा मन, मेरी बुद्धि, मेरी आत्मा और मेरी शक्ति मेरा साथ निभाती रहे। कर्मठता मेरे जीवन का अंग रहे, निराशा, हताशा और उदासी का संयोग कभी मेरे साथ न हो।

हे प्रभु! हमें मृत्यु से छुड़ाना, हमारे दुःखों का तिरोभाव हो जाए, लेकिन अमृत से हमें न छुड़ाना। अर्थात् हम कच्ची अवस्था से दुनिया से न जाएं, पूरा जीवन जीकर इस दुनिया से विदा हों। किसी को कच्ची अवस्था में अगर जाना पड़े तो शास्त्रेक्त मतानुसार उस जीवन को अच्छा नहीं माना जाता। कच्चा खरबूजा डाल से तोड़ने पर भी नहीं टूटता, बल्कि बेल उखड़कर हाथ में आ जाती है। लेकिन जब खरबूजा पक जाता है तो तोड़ने की भी जरूरत नहीं पड़ती। खरबूजा स्वयं बेल को छोड़ देता है।

हे शिवस्वरूप परमशक्ति! हम इस दुनिया को स्वयं छोड़ने वाले बनें। कष्टों से, दुःखों से, यातनाओं से, परेशानियों से, विपत्तियों से भयभीत होकर कष्ट सहकर संसार को छोड़ने की स्थिति हमारे सामने न आए, ऐसी कृपा करना।

प्रस्तुत मन्त्र में कीर्ति से युक्त सुगन्ध की कामना की गई है। वास्तव में संसार में वही फलता-फूलता है, जो शिवमय हो जाता है। शिवमय होने के लिए सुबह-शाम बैठकर नाम जप लेना बड़ी बात नहीं है, बड़ी बात तो यह है कि हम अपने जीवन के हर क्षण में चलते-फिरते, उठते-बैठते उसके महामृत्युंजय मन्त्र को हृदय से याद करते रहें। जीवन में जब भी खुशी आए, तो उसे भगवान शिव का आशीर्वाद मानें और दुःख आए तो अपनी गल्तियों को निहारें और प्रार्थना करें-

हे सम्पूर्ण जगत पर शासन करने वाले जगदीश्वर! तेरा एक नाम रुद्र भी है, मुझे शिकायत नहीं है, पर तेरी कृपा अवश्य चाहता हूं। मेरे दुःख, कष्ट, कल्मष तू दूर कर दे, ऐसा मेरा मनोरथ नहीं है, पर इनको मैं सहर्ष स्वीकार कर सकूं, ऐसी शक्ति मुझे प्रदान कर दे, मेरी कामना जीवन की डोर के उलझे हुए धागों को सुलझाने की नहीं है। मैं तो यह चाहता हूं कि वह मेधा, प्रज्ञा, ट्टतम्भरा, सद्बुद्धि मुझे मिल जाए, जिससे मैं उन उलझनों को सुलझाता हुआ, हंसता-मुस्कराता हुआ, गाता-गुनगुनाता हुआ, खुशियों के फूल खिलाता हुआ, तेरी कृपा की पूरी खुशियों से तेरे उपवन को महकाता हुआ न कभी जीवन में तुझे भूलूं और न अपने कर्त्तव्यों को बिसारूं।

मन्त्र के उत्तरार्ध में प्रार्थना की गई है- “उर्वारुकमिव’’ उर्वारुकमिव, शब्द संस्कृत में खरबूजे के लिए प्रयोग होता है जिसका अर्थ है उरुम् अर्चति महन्तम् उपासते इति। जो महादेव की उपासना में सदैव संलग्न रहते हैं, वे संसार में रहते हुए भी संसार से ऊपर उठकर जीवन व्यतीत करते हैं। उनके जीवन में खरबूजे जैसी मिठास एवं सुगन्ध होती है। खरबूजे की उपमा देने का कारण क्या है? मुक्ति। अर्थात् जैसे खरबूजा मधुरता से, सुगन्धि से, परिपूर्ण होता है तो बेल की डाल से स्वयं छूट जाता है। सबकुछ अनायास ही घट जाता है। डाली का केवल कार्य इतना है कि खरबूजे को रस एवं सुगन्धि से परिपूर्ण होते ही वह डाल को स्वयं छोड़ देता है, फिर साथ बन्धे रहने का कोई अर्थ शेष नहीं रहता, अनायास मुक्ति हो जाती है।

मन्त्र का अन्तिम चरण है “मृत्योर्मुक्षीयमामृतात्’’ मुक्ति की स्थिति में व्यक्ति इच्छाओं से भी आजाद हो जाता है। अमृत की भी इच्छा नहीं रहती। यही शिवमय स्थिति है, यही आनन्द का झरोखा है, यही वह अनोखी स्थिति है जो महामृत्युंजय मन्त्ररूपी संजीवनी से प्राप्त होती है। इस हालत में पहुंचकर शिव भक्त सूक्ष्मरूप धारण कर लेता है, छोटा बच्चा बन जाता है और त्र्यम्बक महाशक्ति की कल्याणमयी आनन्ददायिनी गोद में प्रफुल्लित होकर प्रार्थना करता है…

हे सम्पूर्ण जगत् को उत्पन्न करने वाले! सबका पूर्णरूप से पालन-पोषण करने वाले! और अन्त में अपने आगोस में, अपने अन्दर सबकुछ समेट लेने वाले आशुतोष महादेव! आप ही इस अखण्ड ब्रह्माण्ड के नायक हो, हम तेरी कृपा से काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, राग, द्वेष, ईर्ष्या, अहंकाररूपी सांसारिक बन्धनों से मुक्त हो जाएं किन्तु तेरे आंचल का मोह तेरे प्रेम और करुणा का वरदान मैं सदा सर्वदा के लिए चाहता हूं।

सांसारिक बेल से छूटकर तेरी अमृतमय गोद में आकर मैं यही याचना करता हूं कि अपनी अमृतमयी गोद से मुझे कभी जुदा न करना। हे शिवशंकर! मुझे मृत्युरूपी दुःख से छुड़ाओ पर अपने अमृतकुण्ड से कभी विलग न करना। मैं आपका हूं, तो सबका हूं, अगर आपका न रहा तो संसार की इस भीड़ में कोई मेरा न रहेगा। मेरी तो कामना है कि मैं-मैं न रहूं, तू-तू न रहे, तू मैं हो जा, मैं तू हो जा, तेरा नाम मुझमें समा जाए, तेरा मन्त्र मेरे अन्दर समाहित हो जाए और मैं तेरा गीत बन जाऊं, संगीत बन जाऊं।

Today, we are celebrating Ram Navami. A highly sacred day, the festivities commemorate the birth of Lord Ram on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri. And in 1991, on one such pious day of Ram Navami, His Holiness Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj established Vishwa Jagriti Mission (VJM) in India’s capital city, Delhi with the pious aim of true service to mankind.
