Activities of the Mission

To give practical shape to its objectives, Mission not only preaches human values but also has constructed temples, established educational institutions, and has undertaken humanitarian projects for the poor and weaker sections so that all the God loving people could follow the principles expounded by the Mission and make their lives meaningful.

Social Service Projects:

Vishwa Jagriti Mission, founded by revered HH Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj over last 27 years, has established more than 85 Mandals and Sewa Samitis all over India for upliftment of society, service to poor and downtrodden, and for dissemination of faith and religion through religious and spiritual discourses and selfless service to mankind. The efficient running of these centres and samitis under the guidance Of Dr. Archika Didi, the elder daughter of Maharajshri has set high standards for religious awakening of humanity not only in India but across the Globe.

Health Care:

Mission has a long chain of healthcare centers throughout the country. Karuna Sindhu Charitable Hospital is one major amongst the many healthcare initiatives. It was established in 1998 in the natural pollution free environment of Anand Dham Ashram, Delhi for free medical services, medicines and consultation to the poor and helpless patients coming from the nearby underprivileged and less developed areas. The hospital with immense cleanliness and various department such as E.N.T., Eye, General Physician, Homeopathy etc also attract number of well to do people. The hospital ranks one of the best five eye hospitals in Delhi, especially in eye care facilities and is equipped with the latest machines and technology for testing and treating of the eye diseases. Till May 2019, 1502083 patients have been treated and 27055 cataract operations have been performed free of cost in this hospital. Further, Arogya Dham Hospital at Faridabad (Haryana) has also treated more than ten lakh patients and which has all medical facilities.

Educational facilities for the poor:

Various Schemes in the field of education for the underprivileged, orphan and neglected children are successfully working. Vishwa Jagriti Mission has established two big Bal Ashrams (Orphanages) named as Devdoot Bal Ashrams. One of them is located at Surat and the other at Kanpur. Both of these Ashrams have 100 children each, who are being imparted free public school education. Devdoot Balkalyan Ashram, Surat is recognized by the Govt. of Gujarat.

VJM has set up two Public Schools in tribal areas of India. Mission is running at present two such schools of modern orientation in Khunti and Rukka Village of tribal’s in Ranchi, Jharkhand. More than 700 tribal children are provided free books, school uniforms and mid-day meals in each school.

Gyandeep Vidyalaya, a school was opened in 2001 in Faridabad (Haryana) with 28 girls, at present there are 700 girls in the morning shift and 300 boys in the evening shift. Books, uniform, breakfast and snacks are provided free of cost to them. It is recognized by Haryana Govt. Earlier these children were either begging on streets or sifting through garbage or working as child laborers, but now they have got an opportunity to make their future a better place to be at with the help of VJM.

Also to keep up the heritage and cultural aspect of Hinduism going, Maharishi Ved Vyas Gurukul Vidyapeeth was started in 1999. It is a unique center of ancient and modern disciplines of learning. Located at the consecrated premises of Ashram, around 100 students have received free education. Similarly a gurukul has been established from July 2018 in Siddhidham Ashram, Kanpur. From May 2019 Maharishi Ved Vyas Updeshak Mahavidyalaya has been set up in Anand Dham Ashram, where preachers or Dharmacharyas will be trained to spread the message of Peace, love, harmony and spirituality.
